Okay so, it’s been about a year and a month now since this whole weight loss thing started.
1st pic: Sometime in 2018. I actually started losing weight in mid to end of July 2018.

2nd pic: January 2nd 2019

3rd pic: Today! Neat.
What happened between pic #2 and pic #3?
I dyed my hair blonde.
Maybe lost like 5lbs.
Honestly there isn’t some instant, drastic change that you’d notice from just a glance.
But the best and most interesting part is in fact that I have been losing fat and gaining MUSCLE! So while the number on the scale no longer really represents anything of importance to me personally (and quite frankly: it never did, everyone else cares about the numbers more than I actually do) I have found my own way to count numbers.
Like how much a box or whatever weighs before I find it annoying to pick up? That number has gone up.
Flights of stairs I can hike up and down during the day before contemplating murder? Also up.
The number of pairs of shorts and shirts and clothes that are probably too loose but somehow manage to defy gravity and look okay because they’re “stretch” fabric and not fall off my body? Way up.
And before anyone asks for my “magical secrets” and “how did you do it?!” and “what’s your diet?!”
The not-so-secret-secrets:
1. When you eat you kind of need to get off your ass.
2. Stress is bad for you. Become more zen with yourself.
3. Sorry, no magical diet. Eat, drink and be merry then burn it off later.

For what it’s worth: probably lost 50lbs or whatever. I stopped counting in January. :)
